Although the Family of Nut Rucks have many design similarities the Medical variants differ in that they have a full wrap around  zipper clam shell configuration that allows them to open flat for easy access to the contents in a medical emergency. The interior features our Check-Mate™ attachment system, the Check-Mate™ panel allows elastic loops to be attached at any location in either a vertical or horizontal orientation.  The flat pockets on the inside of but the front and back of the Medical Nut Rucks are oriented upright when in the ‘open position,’ creating storage for thin items such as chest seals, occlusive dressings, burn-gel, triage cards, etc.

the Family of  Medical Nut Rucks all  have a removable waist straps and waist strap storage channel on the back, the Standard and plus models also have trauma sheer storage and glove pocket on the rear face. The sides of all variants have anchor points that allow the user to attach S-Biners to the sides and hang external items like Chem-light markers, tactical gloves or other similar items. The top rear of each medical nut ruck has an attachment point for our First Spear Tubes™ Hanger  that allows the Nut Ruck to be used a dangler pouch below the  plate bags of your body armor and have rapid one handed removal. The front of all of our Nut Rucks have a loop panel on the front for patches and marking purposes.

The Standard variation was designed to hold the contents of the US Army issue IFAK, and for individuals who want a more streamlined profile.  It comes with one panel of Check-Mate™ on the inner rear face a. It includes  5 elastic organizer bands (2x large 2x small and 1x micro), 6 locking sticks, and 1 one-wrap.  The front panel is a flat 4-way stretch pocket on the inner front face.

    BLUF – The perfect IFAK!

This is perfect to hold all components of the Army’s standard issue IFAK and more! Fits everything in an organized manor all retained with included elastic. I have 2 TQs (1 bottom and 1 right side) as well as Leatherman raptor shears in their holder on the back. I also purchased the first spear tubes so I am able to run this pouch 3 different ways:
    1) as a dangler on my plate carrier
    2) a dangler on my chest rig (just slide the tube out and slide it into the mount on the other)
    3) as a regular fanny pack on my back between components of my duty belt, or around front leaving my back free to sit in vehicles.

I plan to purchase a another to store extra items and be able to move it around my different kits for different applications!

Hands down the best dangler med pouch on the market. Carry on my gear as a comprehensive buddy-medkit separate from my own belt-mounted IFAK. Design is beyond well-thought-out, and the execution is perfect. Provides speedy access to all emergency medical supplies in a compact package. I opted to include the 4-molle tubes hanger (ingenious use of the First-Spear Tubes system), which at the time of my order was not in stock. Not only did Arbor Arms have this to my mailbox inside of a week, they also included one of their pvc medical patches for free even though I opted not to include one. They also included some stickers and another velcro patch with their logo. Arbor Arms is ahead of the game as far as tactical gear is concerned. If you’ve been looking for a medical/IFAK dangler pouch, stop looking and just buy one of these (or one of the other two sizes of medical nut-rucks). After getting my hands on mine and setting it up, I can’t believe any big-name gear maker would charge any less than double what Arbor Arms asks for this product if they’d been smart enough to conceive it themselves. Any other gear I want for my kit, I’ll be buying from Arbor Arms first. I’d already have one of their plate carrier systems if I had the money saved. This company and their products are among the best, period.
