These mag inserts address a simple problem with a simple solution. I would say that these are about the same level of retention as an elastic based pouch when installed in a normal nylon mag pouch. Definitely better value than other brands that do the same thing for a much higher price. Overall construction is solid and there’s nothing to really break or go wrong.

If you get the combat wombat or enhanced 3 mag pouch, you should get these. They make speed reloads easy and re-indexing mags even easier
