MINIMALIST RADIO POUCH – MRP (BASE)

The MINIMALIST RADIO POUCH – MRP can be attached internally or externally via MOLLE, via any of the listed LZ attachment methods, such as our Velcro Wing LZ or several others.  Maximum ergonomics are achieved while affixed internally with our proprietary elastic cummerbunds.  The shock cord retention system allows for fine tuning the height of your radio regardless of which battery or power reroute you use.  This vertical adjustment allows the user to find the sweet spot where the operator’s hip will not be rubbed raw, but maintain clear space for arm movement.  The shock cord also allows access to screens and buttons without removing the radio for mid-mission programming.  A stiffener at the top allows for easy radio insertion while worn.

Intended for use with PRC-148 and PRC-152 radios but may be suitable for any similar size LE or other radio.

Additional LZ Attachments
The LZ system allows users to choose several  types of attachment method that are most suitable for their mission & requirements.  Additionally, users may have multiple LZ’s on different kits, while the radio stays in the base pouch and can be transferred from one to the other in just a few seconds.
The Velcro Wing LZ allows you to run the MRP on the front plate bag of the Arbor Arms Assaulter plate carrier in conjunction with a 3 mag placard or the front plate bag of any traditional hook-loop flap closure type plate carrier.
The Assaulter Wing attachment method allows users to add the Wing LZ to the Arbor Arms Assaulter plate carrier.  Via the laser cut provisions in the front plate bag above and below the female Cobra buckle, the Assaulter Wing LZ allows for two different attachment depths to accommodate different plate to chest interfaces, which allows the radio to be placed in the best ergonomic position.  Although it may be attached in a fixed manner via 2 slik clips, it can also be attached via the maritime cutaway cable, allowing the radios to separate from the front plate bag during an emergency ditch.
